Your chosen aperture does this image great justice and showcases the toad nicely against the complimentary background. It also brings out the toads wonderful texture against and nice soft blurry background texture.
The focus is perfect, concentrating on the eye and head area.
Composition wise I like it, although I do feel that slightly mnore space around the toad and particularly to the right side of it would enhance it further. You have caught the toad in a nice pose and the sloping foreground matches nicely with the angles created by this pose.
Exposure and lighting look pretty much spot on to me as do the colours.
The framing is nice, but I dont think it particularly enhances the image, it possibly makes it appear as a tighter crop.
Its a smashing wildlife image 9/10
