Thanks Angi, I was a bit unsure about the composition, i never like the straight forward centre composition, but nothing else would have worked here, so glad you think it looks good  I think your right about the lighting, she is a much brighter colour though, so I think that plus the bit more light on her makes it stand out more, if that makes sense! Well I'm hard pushed to find anything you could improve on this, and as you know, I specialise in reptile photohgraphy and I dont always get it right.
Its a lovely composition, not easy to capture two Leopard geckos staying still. The colours look spot on to me aswell. The lighting works well throughout, although it seems it might be a teensy too bright on the left of the gecko on the left, but Im on my laptop and it could be fine when viweing from another computer screen.
The use of the black background and reflective surface works a treat.
